Looking for a lightweight convertible headset? The new EP310 is an excellent way to go if you’re on a budget. The convertible design allows you to pick which style you want to wear, over-the-head or on-the-ear, making this headset choice the most desirable for those who aren’t quite sure what their employees prefer. Worried about background noise being transferred to your callers? Then the noise-canceling flexible microphone that comes standard on the Rhapsody is an excellent solution. A Quick Disconnect cord is also included, making it easy to keep the headset on while walking away from the desk. It can be difficult to convert this headset from one wearing style to the other, you do have to pull pretty hard which made me worry that I was going to break it. An amplifier is needed to use this headset; if you don’t already have it, it’s the Executive Pro amplifier and can be found on our website. In which case if you need the amp I’d look into the EP315 system, which comes with everything you need.
This headset is not nearly as comfortable as the Overture headset I had before, the ear piece tends not to sit flat against my ear, and there is a pulling sensation that is very uncomfortable.
