This is the best headset and at a great price too!! I play America's Army, and now that I have these I can pin-point exactly where my opponents are at without even thinking twice. I can hear sounds from a much further distance and certainly with more clarity than ever before. Had I been given a set for free to test I would have gladly paid upwards of $60.00 just to be able to keep them. This is one satisfied customer. The microphone is also one of the best I've used. It picks up sound clearly without being distorted by noises in the background. All my friends tell me I finally sound human instead of robotic.

I have been using Plantronics for about 5 years. I love the mic comfort and sound, with volume control. The only problem I have is the cord shorts out around the volume control after 2 or 3 months. I would like to see the cord bigger and more durable.

All Plantronics headsets are nice, this is the last model I purchased. I've been using their headsets for upwards of 6 years. However, it seems that EVERY headset, regardless of model seems to break on me no matter what I do. Either one of the earphones dies or the mic dies about every six months. I got smart and decided to purchase a replacement plan at the local retailer where I pick them up but they just went out of business so now I'm stuck having to buy another pair full price instead of the 3.99$ replacement fee. I love them, but having to spend $20-30 every six months is just silly. Tiny, tiny, tiny wires inside and crappy chips. Either the cap ends up leaking, or one of the tiny wires breaks somewhere, or maybe one of the microchips inside. I don't know.
I'm careful with them, it's not like I throw them across the room or drop them or anything. I understand they need to make money with repeat business, but can't they last 2 years instead of 6 months?
Anyway, sorry for the rant... they're great when they work, maybe you'll have better luck with them lasting longer. I may be the one guy that has to spend 120$ on a really good set in order to have them last.

What we like about these is that they are circumaural and help to block out background noise. We also like that the mic and headset are on one unit. We would like to see the cord or cable to be stronger and perhaps a larger diameter to improve its durability.
