The small-end connection on this device is not very solid. I had to replace it once and the replacement is not much better. There's no confidence that my Plantronics 520 is "staying connected" for a full charge. The USB charger is not like that and gives a solid connection right from the beginning. Sorry for the poor review. I'm not sure what's different about the connector used on the AC adapter vs. the USB adapter. Perhaps "a bad batch".

I ordered the Plantronics 520 headset through my employer and wanted an additional charger. My comment is on the headset. It is great except the tone volume for functions are not loud enough. Another feature that is missing is that it does not beep to let you know when you are out of a reception area like others I have used.
