Plantronics CS10 Wireless Headset System with Noise-Canceling DuoSet Headset

The CS10 is a bit of an “old-school” system at this point. The corded belt pack has your answer, mute, and volume controls on it and can work with any H series headset and an adaptor cord, although it comes with a Duoset convertible headset. In the last few years, this model has really been eclipsed by the CS50 and then the CS55 (which have the same controls on the headset itself and no corded beltpack). It’s still a solid, dependable unit but using a remote pack seems a little awkward now when you can just have the same answer and volume controls on the ear with the other CS models.

I use the CS10 as my lifeline at work. My job requires me to be accessible at all times. I am a Surgical Coordinator for a Nuero-Surgical group. Wireless phone use is a life saver. I am able to talk with scheduling and fill paperwork out required at the same time due to the handsfree aspect of the phone. I am also able to move around the office and continue my conversations with the many Insurance Co I deal with. Never breaking my stride in the paperwork issues. I can answer the phone away from my desk at all times. I am impressed that the CS50 is out now which is totally wireless headset and has a busy light when speaking. The wires on the headset of the CS10 I dislike. I catch the wires on things that seem to jerk it off my head at times. Also no one can really tell if I am on the phone so when speaking they think I am talking with them. I am very satisfied with the CS10, but the CS50 has the features I really want. Sandra Altizer

This wireless headset system with the handset lifter is great! It actually allows me to answer and disconnect from incoming calls from anywhere in the office. I used to have to sprint across the sales floor to get back to my ringing phone. The handset lifter actually lifts my receiver out of the cradle for me, connecting me with my ringing line. Very weird to watch it working, but now I can pick up my lines from anywhere in the office.

The CS10 wireless headset system is a lifesaver, well OK, maybe not a lifesaver - but certainly a lot-of-timesaver :-) It is small and lightweight and allows me to be away from my desk while on the phone (which really helps me support my team). The headset that comes with it is amazing. I can wear it over the head or I can take the headband off and wear it on the ear! I guess the technology has come a long way since I last bought a headset. Not only do I love it but my boss loves it too! Any advice on the boss/toy encroachment issue?

Great product! I am sooo happy with it! Plus, now I can dance around the office and look cool! Hee-hee!
