Plantronics CS55 Wireless Convertible Headset

I just purchased this headset and love it. Fits comfortably over your ear, or over the head with the band. It set up very quickly to my phone, pretty much plug and play. The reception is awesome, and so far battery life is great.....

As for negatives....no port to be able to plug an extra headset for someone to listen to the calls, and volume is a bit low, but acceptable.

My old CS50 was a real workhorse but when so when after several years of use I finally wore it out, I chose the CS55 as a natural replacement. I could not be happier. Not can I talk even longer between charges (10 hours now) but I have had none of the occasional glitch I encountered between my CS50 and my wi-fi network. Great headset, highly recommended!

This a valuable tool for anyone who spends more than 10 minutes on the phone. No cords and can go a far distance. Makes it easy to multitask.

Found one of the ear pieces to be comfortable from the pack. Didn't realize the ear pieces would be an issue to wear with reading glasses, but they are.

Love the idea & the mobility BUT the earloop is painful!...My insurance agent at State Farm also tried this model & returned it due to the earloop comfort.

We have 7 of these in our office including the headset lifters and are very pleased. Two of our headsets are over 2 years old and have held up well to daily use including an occasional drop.

The only draw back we have seen with the headset is that you cannot tell if someone is on the phone when you walk up to them. If they are not speaking, then it's hard to tell. This is really important to our front desk receptionists since they are greeting walk-in customers and answering phones. An indicator light on the mouth piece would be helpful.

I love it! The on-the-ear piece is comfortable to use. Less wires on the desk compared to the corded headset that I first started out with. But the best part of owning a wireless headset, my phone is only accessible to me. I don't worry about other people's germs.

It has been a terrific help to eliminate shoulder & neck pains.
I will be ordering another soon.

I am enjoying using the headset as it was designed. A little shorter piece coming down the side of the face would be nice as it would create a little more stability as the piece sits against the head. Much like the one I use for my car phone. I did have to contact your tech staff to get the system working and they were very helpful.

This system is wonderful for with the exception of the ear piece as I have small ears and the circumference of the piece is a bit too large for my ear. It causes my ear to be sore through the next day. I switch sides every day. I may have to spend close to $70.00 to get a custom ear piece made so that it will be more comfortable to wear all day long. I'm not able to wear the headset as it keeps sliding off of my head and the sound isn't as good.

So far so good, I like the fact you offered a headset and not just an over the ear option.

Love it, love it, love it! Now when I'm on hold for extended periods of time I can work on other things. When I need additional information during the call to complete the call I can get it without dragging my phone off the desk.

To be completely honest, the only reason I tried your product was that it was free and I wouldn’t have to pay the shipping back. I really had no intention of keeping the CS55 little less loving it. The flexibility and mobility to grab something from the filing cabinet across the office while on the conference call from hell, the relieve from my neck and shoulder issues are noticeable and it evokes funny “star trek” remark from very one I work with.

The only things that is a downside, and maybe I am not working it properly, is that I wish I could answer the phone via the headset (especially when I am down the hall from my desk). Otherwise, Bravo!

I've had numerous different (wired) headsets and this one is by far the best yet! The sound and microphone quality are great .. I don't have any problem hearing callers and they don't have any problems hearing me. The only thing I'd change is the on/off button on the ear piece is a little small and takes some getting used to ... would be better if it were an easier click on/off.
As important as the product has been the support staff at 1-800-Headsets ... always available, knowledgeable and very helpful ... Since buying this product in Jan I've had two small problems and the Customer Service Rep quickly solved each without delay... I would highly recommend them and this product to any potential buyer.

I have been using Headsets.com for some time now and have been COMPLETELY satisfied with their service and how much they are willing to bend over backwards to help a customer. As to the product, I can't say enough about it. I have purchased over 10 of these and have had very little issues with them. You may wonder what the issue was...human error.

Like the product a lot because of size and the headset. The ear piece that goes behind the ear is a little hard on the ear. Maybe a soft cover would help? :)

Absolutely everything I hoped it would be! Now I can leave my desk and multitask without having to run back for a phone call. In addition, I would recommend this to anyone who needs to get up from there desk and NOT miss a call! Love it!

We tried setting up the headset on our own, but it just didn't work right on the Cisco 7920 phone. We called Customer Support and the man that helped us was so friendly and assured that he would get it working. He asked us to try a couple of things that he knew had worked with other Cisco customers, and guess what? It worked like a charm. Great customer service!

I am an Assistant to the Principal of a High School and a Office Manager for 3 offices within the school. I am constantly on my feet to and from offices and following behind a Principal. (That's moving) In order to ensure that telephones are answered in a timely fashion, I decided to sample the Headset request sent in the mail. At first I thought, oh, another gadget, but said to myself oh well why not, to my surprise, my hands were now free, I could get up and walk away, and not worry about running back to telephone when I heard it rang, only to miss the call, I could speak to teachers and secretaries with peace, that I would hear that little beep that tells me theirs a call coming in. Some times, its so peaceful, I thought am I missing calls, did I do something wrong, but than a beep comes to assuring me, its ok. I love this wireless headset. It’s an assistant's dream.

I love my Plantronics Wireless Headset. I have ordered 4 so far and still looking towards more orders in the future. This takes away the pressure of being confined to your desk all day long. This is like a little piece of freedom.

My purchase of a Headset has inspired everyone in my office to purchase one!! They see how easy, convenient, professional it is. The freedom from the corded phone lets you multi-task with ease!! The only thing that would improve the unit would be a light to indicated you are on the phone-people think you are talking to them as you pass in the hall etc!!!!!!!!

I am very fussy when it comes to headsets -- especially wireless ones. The CS55, however, is an outstanding headset that offers tremendous value. It is a neck/shoulder saver, and offers sound clarity that delights me. The headset that came with my phone made many people I was talking with ask "can you switch to your handset?", and with the CS55 you can't tell the difference.

I like this one so much I'm going to buy one for my wife, who's been complaining about neck pain from all the time she spends on the phone at work.

Generally, I am pleased with this headset. There are two things that I would suggest you change:
1. The mouthpiece only adjusts to two settings, both of which leave it in front of my mouth. I like to wear the headset most of the time, but when I am not talking on it, I would like to be able to move the mouthpiece all the way down or up (parallel to the headband)and away from my mouth. Also, the light on the headset that indicates that I am connected is so small and faint that when my office mates approach me they cannot tell if I am on the line.

Excellent product. Allows our employees to move about their areas and still conduct phone business. A little pricey, but a good product.

This product is absolutely unbelievable. I can't believe that I have worked this long without it. Where has this thing been all of my life? It just blows me away to be able to stand at the copier or in the middle of filing and be able to answer and end calls with the push of a small button. My work life has really improved by not being tied down to my desk with a phone cord. I would highly recommend this product. All I can say is: WOW! WOW! WOW!

Using the wireless headset had helped my neck problems significantly. I was having problems due to cradling the phone receiver between my ear & left shoulder, so I could still use my hands while on the phone.

Now several other people in my office want one to use.

Just wish they weren't so expensive, but everyone who has one really loves it, and installation is very easy.

Excellent Product. Good range and is very comfortable.

The headset is great. Very clear sound and easy to set up with the instructions provided. The handset lifter does not work the best with the model phone we have so that is a bummer. We have to push the silver button on the headset to answer a call and then push the line we want to pick up on the phone itself (it does not pick up the line automatically). We also have to use the "hang up button" on the phone after we have pushed the silver button again on the headset. Since the headset does not automatically pick up or hang up, we can not be away from the phone itself to answer or hang up phone calls (we were hoping to do this). The handset lifter is better than picking up the receiver to take it off the hook every time we want to make a phone call though!

I had used my unit only two days when it quit working....neither your staff nor Plantronics could solve the issue. So it is being shipped back. One of the reasons I choose your unit was so that I wouldn't have call down time. Although your staff was very courteous they just couldn't solve the problem. I plan on giving the second unit the 60 day FREE trial and if I have any problems it will be returned to you. At this point, I am disappointed.

I like the headset very much. I would suggest making the connection where it charges better. You have to push it in to make sure it connects - If I'm in a hurry, I sometimes forget to "push it in" and then it doesn't charge.

I've been using my headset for a while and have been asked where did I get it. As a result, several co-workers have bought them and use them. I've even lent my old corded headset to another employee because handsfree is the only way to work in my office.

Absolutely love it. Have only had it one week and cannot imagine ever working without it.

This product comes with 4 different ear pieces that go around your ear and they are VERY hard, they hurt and the whole point that I bought this is that I can wear all day. After the first hour or so I had the worst headache from wearing it and trying to figure which size fits best. None of them work. Now I have to wear the headband and I really did not want to that. I called in your office and spoke to a woman. She is sending me some kind of "cone" to try over, I am happy she is doing that. But what made me unhappy was she immediately told me I have to up grade to more expensive set. I was not pleased about this. I will follow up after i get the "cone" piece and see how that feels.

Love the fact that I can now talk and type at same time. Love the headset, however, none of the four ear attachments feel comfortable. They pull the headset toward the outer wall of my ear, pinching it. So, my co-workers and I have opted for the over-the-head style, which can push down a good hair-do, if you know what I mean!

I like the wireless feature of the headset but it is heavy to wear it with the on-the-ear style, which I prefer. I will probably return it soon for something that is not as heavy, like the CS55 Micro.

Our new wireless headsets were easy to set-up and use. They have given a great amount of freedom to the team members that received them and I will be placing another order to get headsets for the rest of the team in the near future.

The Plantronics CS55 works great. Within hours of first use, I already felt a difference in my posture; no more cradling the handset between my head and shoulder!

I love this product. The only problem I see is the ear piece. I can't wear it all day on one side because I also wear glasses and it becomes painful after a period of time. The headset itself is very comfortable, however, it really does a number on my hairdo. So, that is the only dilemma I struggle with everyday.

So far we love this product. We are an audiology clinic and most of the people we talk to on the phone have hearing loss. I was expecting to have people tell me that they could not hear me with the headset, but it hasn't been a problem at all. The only thing we were disappointed about was that in order to use a second microphone, we have to go through the re-synching process at shift changes (2 people job share and we didn't want to use the same microphone).

The included accessories are well thought out. Four sizes of ear hooks, foam pads, and over the head adapter. The instructions are easy to follow.

The headset is working well. Clients are hearing me very clearly however; I am hearing a buzzing/humming tone on my end.

Since multiple people use the same headset, it would be better if the larger adjustments for hearing and listening would be easier to access readily.

While I like the hands free format, I do not like the over the ear piece that goes with the CS55. the small, hard plastic pieces have no instructions showing how they should be worn. The pieces (many sizes included, which is nice) are painful against the ear, even with the earmuff to cover the center portion of the piece. I have yet to receive my behind the head piece to ascertain how it will work.

I do like the product and the ease it provides me to multitask. It was easy to set up. The only negative thing is the pressure I feel on my ear. At the end of the day my ear is a little sore. It would be great to have some cushion to protect the ear.

It works quite well, my only complaint is the ear pieces don't work well on my ear, none of them seem to be rounded enough, and they are a little too hard for my comfort

We are very pleased with our new trial headsets. I'm looking forward to trying them with the lifter. We had the other type, but you're still tied down to your telephone. This is much better!

Unfortunately, I'm disappointed with the headset I've ordered because I don't like the way it sits on my ear. It doesn't stay in place the way I thought it would and I don't want to use the one that goes over your head. I will be attempting to return this product.

I am using my new CS50 cordless headset. It is the second one I've had. I loved the first one I had one for about 15 months. that one inadvertently got caught in the long arm on one of my outside potted plants and came off my ear and I didn't know where I lost it. I found it a month later and it had been in the several heavy rains and didn't work anymore. The new one seems as good as the first. Tried a couple of different ones from another brand and they did not match up well.

SO FAR I REALLY LIKE THIS HEADSET. I HAVE IT SET TO GO OVER THE EAR INSTEAD OF THE HEAD AND IT SEEMS TO BE WORKING OUT. I DID GET THE HANDSET LIFTER, BUT HAVE NOT HAD A FREE MOMENT TO GET THE I/T GUY IN TO REPROGRAM THE PHONE TO USE IT. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THAT TO HAPPEN! THEN ANSWERING & DISCONNECTING WILL BE SO MUCH EASIER WHEN I AM AWAY FROM MY DESK!

Appreciated receiving the most comfortable ear attachment. I'm pleased with the product; still learning about it's features to work best for me. Appreciate the assistance from your staff when I call.

The lifter works perfectly and in conjunction with the CS55 headset I now have the freedom to walk out in the warehouse and even outside the building and still not miss any phone calls. I recommend these two products to all those who don't sit right by their phone all day long.

I love this headset, I can walk around out in our warehouse and talk to someone at the same time. The voice quality and reception distance are fantastic. The folks at Headsets.com were very helpful in helping get this headset set up and adjusted so that voice quality and volume were perfect for me. We bought this for our office manager and she hated it. She continually either was too loud or could not be heard. There was static and loud noises in her ear. The lifter did not work to put the phone back on the hook and the whole experience was a nightmare for her. She returned everything.

I like this head set because it is very easy to use and install.
What I do not like it is sound it is not too clear and very often I hear my voice as a background.

This product was purchased for a staff member that spends extensive time on the phone while taking notes. It was very easy to set-up and for the little bit I used it, the sound quality appeared good.

This headset is being used by one of our triage nurses. She has said that she hears an echo. Also, the first 2 days, the charge only lasted for 5 hours. Hopefully after charging for the entire weekend, this seems to be lasting longer.

The quality if great, but the earpiece is too heavy and very uncomfortable when worn with just the wrap around piece. I do not like over the head headsets, but the microphone is just too heavy to wear with only the over the ear earpiece.

Thank you for the 60 day trial offer which afforded an employee to try a compatible wireless headset prior to purchase. This headset is used continuously throughout the day and is extremely comfortable - without a belt pack.

The product has great voice quality and range. My office has bought around 20 of these since the purchase of our 1st one.

This is the third CS55 I have purchased--they are wonderful. Also the CSR I spoke with was a pleasure to work with.

We found it to be a bit heavy for the ear support but works fine with the over the head support. The range is great and the sound is perfect.

I love the quality of the Plantronics Wireless headsets. However, upon checking the price locally with Office Depot I found you were a bit higher priced. And the convenience would have been the about the same in so much as I could have called the order in and had it delivered free.

Very easy set up, not complicated at all. I wish I could put calls on hold and answer other calls, that's the only thing I miss. SO far (I've only had it a week) I really like the product. It's funny that the lifter is mechanical, you'd expect something more high tech, but it works.

The most recent purchase of the CS50 series headsets is the 5th one for our office. They have become a standard order item whenever we have a new hire that will be spending a significant amount of time on the phone. It has so simplified my life I can't imagine doing my job without one.

Prefer the over the head style. The ear hooks put pressure on parts of my ear that are uncomfortable. I have a Blue tooth for my cell phone that is comfortable because it fits inside my ear and not on the outside.

I have used the headset for two days and wonder why it took me so long to buy one.

I enjoyed using it and it allows much more freedom for me to complete other tasks while talking on the phone. There was some static at first because I am using a DSL line and have a wireless modem nearby but that was corrected when I called into the helpful customer service desk and they sent me an RF filter!

The 300 foot range is a dream in a large office building with significant steel & cement.

The headset is perfect. The sound is superb, which was very important to me. It's comfortable, works like it's supposed to, and I'm very pleased.

I have lost count of the number of the CS50 series of headsets our office uses. We love them! They provide flexibility and prevent many "phone tag" chases.

Three of my co-workers and I have been using the CS50 for almost two years now. We can't imagine a day at work without using it. Not only has the wireless headset given us complete mobility, but it has also ended the neck pain that each of us experienced when we tried to talk on the phone and type on the computer keyboard at the same time. Just recently I purchased a new headset for a lady that will be coming to work for us soon. I'm sure she will enjoy using it as much as I have. Thanks for the terrific product!

The headset is comfortable and having the different snap-on ear clip things is GREAT. What a clever idea! So you have an earloop that will fit anyone. It's great to not be tied to a wire. Wires are a pill. But I'm 53 years old, and the volume is way too loud for me, even turned all the way down. Yes, I know there are two volume adjustments (we engineering-types are capable of finding that kind of thing). I guess I've done too good a job protecting my hearing over the years. I suggest a greater range on the volume. Also, it sounded like I was in a cave.

I like the new smaller size of the headset but I am having problems hearing the conversation even with the volume on high. I am also getting too much feedback.

My dispatching staff attempted several times to utilize this equipment during a trial period. They found the equipment to be too burdensome and cumbersome to use. They were not happy with it at all. We are in the process of returning this equipment.

I received my headset Thursday, February 28 and installed it right away - the headset worked beautifully, although my ear was quite sore after a few hours. On Friday, the headset did not work, I tried several times but it was not working. Late Monday morning, I called your toll-free number and worked with a very nice man; it took some time before we got it working and then it quit. Tuesday, I started all over and after playing around it is now working. My ear is still sore, but not as bad. I am not yet in love with this headset, but will work with it before I make any decision.

We have purchased the CS50 previously and were very happy with it. This is the first CS55 we've purchased and it has not disappointed. The only complaint I have is that it is pricey. Keep up the good work.

The Plantronics CS55 Wireless Convertible Headset is great. I should have gotten one years ago. It makes office work a lot easier and I have a lot less missed calls now that I can answer them wirelessly.

This Plantronics headset is used 8 hours a day 5 days a week. We have 2 part time receptionists who can't live without it, for the use and abuse it gets, it holds up pretty well.

I like that the headset is wireless. It makes doing my job so much easier. Instead of having to put my Customer on hold to go and hunt down something I can take them with me, so to speak. No more getting tangled up in the cord while trying to maneuver around my desk. If I forget I have the headset on and I walk away from desk I don't get snatched back, so that's a plus.

I don't particularly like the automated handset lifter. It's OK if I'm away from my desk but if I'm away from desk I'm not going to answer the phone anyway. Having to push the button on the headset to pick up and hang up a call is really annoying. I guess it just takes some getting use to but if there are any other options I would definitely be interested.

I tried using the ear piece and the head band and the head band is the most comfortable although, I really like the look of the ear piece. I wore that ear piece for 8 hours and it really started to give me a headache by the end of the day. Overall it's an improvement from what I had before.

Overall, very pleased with the headset. I don't like the echo of my voice. Tried adjusting volume to reduce echo but can't seem to find a nice balance. I can turn volume down to reduce echo but then have trouble hearing customers on the phone.

We have purchased wireless headsets for all of our phone representatives. They allow us the freedom to move around and it greatly improves the Customer experience. We don't know how we ever did without them.

We love the wireless headset. We have 2 for now, but plan to build up to about 12. The staff feels so much freer when on hold because they can still walk to the copier and not get tangled in wires.

I don't care for the headset or the shape of the mouthpiece, it touches my cheek/chin area. I've talked with the sales people and we are trying it for a few more days, but then probably going to try a different model.

The CS55 has performed far better than I expected. Your Customer service department was right on target when I had a problem with the last one we ordered. Thank your for your excellent product and support at a very competitive price.

This is a great headset. I only wish the behind-the-neck band would work for me, but doesn't. Otherwise it is great to be handsfree and be able to answer the phone even when I have stepped away from my desk.

I like the light weight and comfort of the headset.
I don't like the fact that it does not always work as the handset lifter does not activate all of the time, so that is a real pain and may cause me to return the unit.

After some time playing with the sound it works great. A little disappointed that one of the ear pieces didn't work for me but the over the head band is working great now!

I am disappointed by the Plantronics CS55 Wireless Convertible Headset, considering the price. It is extremely uncomfortable. I have had it for a couple of months and it's not any better. I wanted to wear the ear piece, but the part of the phone that sits "on" the ear happens to sit on the cartilage in my ear and it causes so much pain that I can't wear it in that style. So I tried the headband and because of the cushion the discomfort on my ear doesn't happen; but what does happen is that it doesn't sit directly on my ear. It slides down. Also, if I position the headband so that it can stay on my ear, the angle won't work because the microphone is in my mouth or pressing into my face. The people who call me sound bad and many times the people I talk to say it sounds like I'm in a garage or something (it echoes). I am very disappointed, sorry to say. I was so excited to get this product, but it has not met my expectations.

I truly love this invention. It's amazing how much you can do when your hands are free.

i have been using my head set for about three months. They are very comfortable. I have walked out three times and taken mine home, and have gone to lunch several times with it on. It is quite a joke with each of us about not realizing that we still have the device on our ear; they are so comfortable.

The CS55 is a good wireless headset system. Easy to use and understand. I am able to move our company forward and have increased the amount of wireless units purchased.

I purchased two CS55's. One for me and another for our manager and we both absolutely love it. We talked about it so much that the assistant manager wanted one, so I order one for him. He just received it last week and already loves it. Our only problem is that sometimes it hurts our ear so I ordered the behind the neck set to try. I haven't gotten use to the behind the neck set yet. Hopefully I will love it also.

I have arthritic problems that make it uncomfortable for me to hold a handset for more than a few minutes at a time. The Plantronics CS55 is a godsend. The volume is easy to adjust and the quality of reception is excellent. So light and comfortable on the ear I often forget I'm still wearing it. For me, if a call is going to last more than a minute I'll put it on hold and transfer to the nearest headset in the house. My first one is over 3 years old and still works like new. Absolutely great headset.

I started out with a headset because I have fibromyalgia and my therapist insisted on my having a headset, which eventually converted to wireless so I have had this product for about 8-10 years. This purchase was for someone else in my organization. It is wonderful!!

The headset is great, and certainly makes being on the phone all day easier.

This product is rather disappointing. The claim is that it will receive 300 feet range from the station. This has proven to be an inaccurate statement. It will function within the office space of the person using the headset, but it will not function outside that suite in the rest of the building. No part of our building is 300 feet away form the location of the unit. The good part is that it is comfortable with the headband and the reception is clear within the suite.

I absolutely love the Plantronics CS55 Wireless Convertible Headset and the HL10 lifter. I can be anywhere in my home and answer the phone. I have loved the headset and just recently bought the lifter to make my time more efficient.

I love the flexibility these headsets give you. Light weight, comfortable, sound quality is great except for the ringer volume on the CS50. The ringer volume is great on the CS55, but it doesn't have the range that I need.

I tried this product because I've been having neck, back, and arm problems (numbness). It's been about a week and so far, and it's so great! I am thinking about getting one for my secretary too.

I am very happy with this product so far. I've only used it now for 2 days. I do note a very sizable difference in my neck and shoulder pain!

I like the product. The headset is more comfortable than the previous corded set I had (a Plantronics Vista). I especially like being able to move away from my desk in order to check on things while on the phone. I am having a little bit of trouble adjusting the volume in my headset, and am getting some echoing. I haven't heard, but, people on the other line have indicated that the microphone is clearer than what I had been using previously.

This wireless headset definitely exceeded my expectations. It is easy to set up, and easy to train staff to use.

I have purchased about 8 or more of these headsets for my associates over the last year and have heard nothing but great things about it. The wireless headset works great. The wireless range inside the building could be better.

I recently bought the Plantronics CS50/55. I was not sure if I would keep it as I had bought the GN Netcom 6210. The 60 day return policy allowed me to demo the product. I will be selling my GN Netcom. The Plantronics CS55 is superior in clarity, range and comfort!

It was too hard to set up! After 2 days and 3 people, we finally got it working. But I like this product once we got it started. I do wish there was a hold button on the headset.

I'm very happy with my new wireless headset. I tried using the various ear loops but it was uncomfortable. Yesterday, I used the headband and it was so much better. I can hear clearly and it didn't hurt the back of my ear at all. I will continue using the headband instead of the earloops.

I love this product, I have had it a week now and can't imagine how I survived without it. It has made things so much easier. I highly recommend this product.

I really like the wireless headset but I find it useless without the handset lifter.

Multitasking has never been this easy or comfortable to perform! I now realize how the HL10 handset lifter can maximize the benefits of having a wireless environment, so I will be ordering it shortly.

I love my new Plantronics CS55 Wireless Convertible Headset. It is awesome to be able to walk around and go to the fax or another office and not be connected to a cable.

It is comfortable and I don't have to be at my desk to answer the phone. The ear loops don't work for me as they are not comfortable. I use the over-the-head style but I'd like to be able to use a more flexible ear loop. All in all I love it.

Nice product. I like the options between the on-ear and over-the-head headset for the microphone. So far no problems.

I love this headset. I am currently in the process of convincing my employer that this headset is worth the price....Any suggestions?

These wireless headsets have been "just what the doctor ordered" in our clinic. The receptionists have been so thrilled with them! Now our schedulers are requesting them too.

I like how I can get up and walk around and still answer the phone. I have noticed some sound quality issues though.

The CS55 arrived timely and was easy to install. It is a bother to have to adjust the CS55 in its base, to make sure you can simply answer the telephone with the regular handset. Still, too early to determine whether other minor adjustments to volume, speaker position and actual range within our office will be an issue or not. At this point I do not know if I would purchase another unit or recommend to anyone else or not.

I love this headset. I use the over the head style (didn't like any of the over the ear styles). I love being able to get up and walk over to my printer or to continue working on my computer while on the phone.

I love the fact that the headset is very light. It's great to be handsfree. I am not particularly liking the headset itself because you always have to be aware of "Alfalfa" hair. Overall, a very good product. Still learning how to use it though.

It tends to hurt my ear, and I can't dial from the headset itself, but on the whole for a hands free it's all right. The sound quality is good. I wish there was another way to answer rather than pushing on my ear.

The Plantronics CS55 Wireless Convertible Headset works OK, volume is low and it's very hard to get it to charge. Also, the ear piece is very uncomfortable to wear for any length of time. Conversely, it's convenient and I am glad to be rid of wires.

The Plantronics CS55 Wireless Convertible Headset is a great product and easy to use. The battery seems to hold enough of a charge for decent talk-time.

The Plantronics CS55 Wireless Convertible Headset is great. I can leave my desk and still be on the phone, multi-task, and the sound is great. Being on the phone is a large part of my job so the Plantronics CS55 Wireless Convertible Headset helps a lot while relieving neck pain from cradling the phone. There isn't anything that I don't like about this product.

I have to say I am impressed with the Plantronics CS55 Wireless Convertible Headset. Once I tweaked all the volume settings no one could tell I was on a headset, much less wireless. I prefer the over-the-head version rather than the ear piece which wasn't very comfortable. It's hard getting used to the freedom to walk around. Overall, I'm impressed!

I liked the product but because most of our phones in the house are cordless, it was clumsy to use. I am sending this back and replacing it with the CS55H model and believe it will work better.

The Plantronics CS55 Wireless Convertible Headset works very well for the most part. There are times when the person on the other end sounds rather garbled, like they are talking through a kazoo. Every time I am speak with one gentleman in particular, it happens and he has a rather deep voice I am not quite sure yet if that is it or not.

I also have the HL10 handset lifter and sometimes there is a hesitation before it lifts.

I do like the fact that I am not chained to my desk and can move around a little more freely. Sure wish I could put someone on hold and take another line from the headset itself.

I've gone through 4 headsets before the Plantronics CS55 Wireless Convertible Headset, and they all had sound problems. The CS55 is different in that it is not only wireless, but the sound is also perfect! My only problem is the that I have very small ears and the ear-only pieces don't fit well and hurt my ear. So I have to use the over-the-head mount which, although comfortable, is not my preference. But mechanically, the headset is wonderful.

The Plantronics CS50 Wireless Convertible Headset has some background noise, other than that works great and has great range.

The new Plantronics CS55 Wireless Convertible Headset we ordered is wonderful and already is offering advantages we hadn't even thought of! Getting the volume adjusted properly has been our only challenge.

What a blessing! No more neck pain!

The Plantronics CS55 Wireless Convertible Headset is nice. Initially we wanted something that wouldn't go over our head so we could avoid the permanent "hair dent." But the ear loop just made our ears sore, so we went back to the headband. We even tried the behind-the-neck strap, but we couldn't hear as well with it. It's going o.k. now, but we still have the hair dent.

The Plantronics CS55 Wireless Convertible Headset with HL10 lifter worked far better than I'd hoped. My Doctor is pleased too!! Great product.

The Plantronics CS55 Wireless Convertible Headset works really well. It's nice to be able to answer the phone when you are away from your desk. I do find that the occasional call is very quite and the volume on the headset doesn't adjust as much as I would like.

The Plantronics CS55 Wireless Convertible Headset is wonderful! I really am glad I can walk around my building without a bulky phone.

Can't get the listening volume as loud as I would like.

The concept of the Plantronics CS55 wireless headset is fantastic. It will make my job so much easier, as I often must be on the phone and travel the office at the same time. The install directions were easy to follow, and it is very nice to have a phone number to call if assistance is needed.

Two downfalls: One, it is difficult to get the receiver to connect to the headband/earloop and stay connected to the headband/earloop. And two, it would be nice to have some sort of pad for the end of the headband, as it quickly becomes uncomfortable on the head.

We purchased the Plantronics CS55 Wireless Convertible Headset at the recommendation of a new employee that had used it at her previous employer. She works as our operator, answering phones all day. She loves the unit and we love the fact that she can multi-task, moving about the office doing other things while talking to our patients. We do utilize wireless computers in our office and so far the headset has not interfered with any of our operations. This was a good find. We love that you are not tied to the phone and can move around when needed without putting your caller on hold or being tied to the phone when you are on hold. The only thing that could be improved upon is the comfort of the earpieces. I have found one that I can use but I wouldn't exactly say it's comfortable, but it is o.k. to wear.

This headset is wonderful! It arrived faster than expected and I was so impressed with the careful packaging!

After using my CS50 around the office building, others finally realized it could benefit them also. I recently purchased a CS55 for another office member who fell in love with it the first day. Within one week, I ordered another CS55 for an other employee. It's very catching!

I am enjoying pretty much everything about this product but do have one complaint: wearing the ear piece without one of the cushions provided is a little painful, but when I use a cushion, I cannot seem to get the ear piece to stay in place at all.

Love this product.

The multiple wearing options allowed for everyone in the office to find the style they liked best. With the ring detector they can take calls from around the office and even outside. The only downside is that everyone in the office now wants one and the adhesive material for the handset lifter is too good and the entire phone has to be moved so others can use it until we order more.

We bought one and liked it so well we got a second. The units free our personnel up to do other things while answering the phones.

Ergonomically speaking, being wireless has been a great help when you're on the phone as much as those working in a call center or somewhere where the majority of your work day involves being on the phone. Now if they could only make these things as small as our wireless headsets for cell phones.
