Plantronics CT12 2.4 GHz Wireless Telephone with Convertible Headset

I have been using this phone for about 4 years now and I can't imagine working without it. I had a corded headset before which tied me to my desk phone, but this set really helped me out. I can sit on the phone for hours in meetings, but this set allows me to get up, stretch, walk around and answer the door if I need to. I have the same complaint about the Mute button. It would be nice to have it activate upon depressing the button. I sneezed many times into the phone before I learned to take the headset off. Then I have to put it back on and I lose part of the conversation. The other thing is that it can only handle about 3 hours of use at once, which can sometimes cause a problem when I have back-to-back meetings that stretch 4-6 hours out. I have to use another phone. Bottom line is, I would buy this phone again and would recommend it highly to friends and coworkers.

We've tried lots of different ones and rejected all except this one. It is well worth the price, a great value, not the least is you won't have to send it back and try another one!

The wire is too light gauge or the covering is too flexible right at the 90 degree pin plug end because that is where 4 have broken in the last year. I am glad you have a warranty. I bought one with the headset and two more for spares because it's not a matter of if it will break the wire but WHEN. I take my Plantronics CT12 phone out of my pocket 40 - 50 times a day but never by pulling on the wire... by grabbing the box on the sides and it still breaks. I am very hard of hearing and can't talk on a normal phone but with the headset and the hearing aids and the volume adjustments on the CT12 I can function.

My co-workers recommend this headset. I have received mixed feedback on how well I am heard over the headset. Some have said I sound like I am in a tunnel, particularly when the volume is turned to maximum. I continue to use it since not everyone seems to hear that "tunnel" effect.

The Plantronics CT12 2.4 GHz Wireless Telephone with Convertible Headset is very lightweight, easy to use, I can hear my callers, and they can hear me with so much more clarity now! I love the one touch speed dial; I can store my most often used number in! This was EXACTLY what I was hoping to find. I am not disappointed in any way.

I bought the Plantronics headset for my wife who works in a busy medical office. She loves it!

I had a bit of initial confusion on receipt. I'd bought the headset based on your response to an e-mail inquire about what product would work with my wife's 5-line ATT "partner phone". When I received the headset and read that it was for a single line phone I thought someone had goofed. One phone call to your helpful staff ended the confusion. The staff member assured me that because it was being used with a "partner phone" the headset would do more for half the price than the multi-line headsets that you could have sold me. She quickly e-mailed me supplementary instructions for using the headset with the partner phone. My wife has been using the headset ever since, and she couldn't be happier.

I'm very impressed that you recommended the best product for my application even though it wasn't an obvious choice. You could have easily sold me something that "looked" like a better choice, cost twice as much, and didn't do as much.

We purchased several CT12 headsets to go with our Avaya Partner phones. The CT12 is excellent, but I kept catching my headset cord on my chair's arm. So I purchased the wireless AWH54 for myself. It's lightweight, cordless, and there are three different wear styles. I like the headset, but background noise is an issue. We're going to try an RF filter to see if that fixes the hissing.

I really like the mobility of this model. It is kind of annoying to have the cord from your ear to your belt/phone, but the distance from the charging station is great. It is very easy to use. I can answer and transfer calls with the click of a button. It saves a lot of pain in my neck and shoulders. We have two in our office and use them regularly with our Partner phone system.

I made this purchase after my billing clerk complained of neck pain from having to hold the phone with her shoulder and type on the comp. Since the purchase she has been able to do her job better and with no pain in the neck. She is also able to wait on customers and answer the phone at the same time. We had looked at other devices but they were to costly. your's was very reasonable and very high quality.

The letters/number wear off the key pad and we can't remember them all the time. Suggest raised or inscribed letters/numbers

I love the CT 12 because of the firefly red light in front. However, I had to order a CT 11 because of the nice soft ear piece, not over the head but just connecting it to my ear. I would rather have a comfortable ear piece, but would LOVE to have the firefly light as well. Unfortunately, I cannot as of yet have both.

We love it that people can be put on hold without returning to the office phone. It would be incredible if it could be upgraded and would allow paging over an intercom from the wireless.

Love the ct-12 phone, my first one is over 3 years old, the numbers are worn off of the pad but it works like a champ, never discontinue this one!!! The service at Headsets.com is the best, I always recommend your company. It's a pleasure to do business with folks with such high standards! Thanks!

Thank you so much for the free trial! We had been trying to get headsets for about 6 months, and then we got your letter in the mail about the 60 day free trial and it's been great! We've got to try 2 different types of headsets and decided on th CT12. We will be ordering 3 of them for all the girls here who answer the phones! Sometimes the phones get really crazy around here and these headsets have really saved my neck. thanks again!

For most people who are at their desk, this may not be the best solution however for our office; the CT12 really comes in handy. We are able to travel around the entire office, treatment area, and treatment rooms, and still take those important calls that come in from patients who need medical help. If, by chance we need to transfer the call, put someone on hold, or even dial out, we can do that anywhere at any time. The only thing the CT12 lacks is the ability to retrieve specific lines but its not too difficult to get back to the actual phone and return to the caller. It’s definitely a great value if you have the partner phones.

Phone is portable, lightweight and dependable. Good sound at least 200 feet away through the building and trees. Service is as usual great with friendly voices answering the phone immediately and taking care of whatever the concern. I am a repeat customer.

While the CT12 doesn't have the full range of functionality I'd prefer (voice mail transfer is, unfortunately, not possible), it does offer a number of basic features at a good price. We'll be ordering more of these headsets for use with our phone system, as it's a decent solution for our small business.

The Plantronics CT12 makes it easier for me to talk on the phone while doing tasks in the house without straining my neck! My favorite features are the Firefly indicator and being able to convert the headset in two different styles (Over-the-Head and On-the-Ear). The clarity, durability, and size are fantastic. The only complaints I have is that there is no conference calling feature and it takes about 3-5 seconds for the phone to mute pressing the button. This is a product worth trying and buying!

I bought this phone, CT 12, about 1 & 1/2 years ago when I opened my practice. I needed a phone that was affordable & yet would allow my only assistant to also double up as my receptionist.

This phone turned out to be probably the most economical equipment in my office, by allowing me to double up the capacity of my staff hence tremendously lowering my overhead. I got two staff members for the salary of one. She could assist me chairside & yet answer the phone as well.

In fact I'm so satisfied by the fact that it exceeded my expectations that I am now looking into buying another one!!!!!!!!!

I'm a broadcast engineer and sitting at a desk in my line of work is rare. When my co-worker recommended the Plantronics CT12 I had to give it a try. It is a great product. The call hold feature and the Firefly in-use indicator light make taking my calls and working with others at the same time just as easy. The noise-canceling microphone gives great clarity and no yelling is required.

The only downside is small dial pad.

I recommend this phone and give it a 100 star rating.

I work in a very busy mortgage company and I am always on the phone. It got to the point that my neck was killing me and to finally find such a great headset, that lets me be anywhere in the office and still be able to answer the phone, transfer calls and get out of my desk to grab a file while without having to put the person on hold while I do it is awesome...I recommend this to anyone that is on the phone all day. I talked about how great it is so much that the owner of the company is getting one too...in a business like ours this is a great fit for us.

I spend a lot of time on the phone and this one is comfortable and has great sound quality. The buttons are a little on the small side, but workable. But I did my homework and this is, by far, the best model available. Only problem I have had is that there has been some interference with my wireless LAN. However, overall, I've been very pleased with it.

I am a travel agent who has been looking for a good quality headset phone for quite some time. The Plantronics CT 12 has all the features I was looking for and more. I love the display that shows how long you have been on a call. The mute button is a life saver for me since I work at home. The sound is perfect. Every other headset I have used, I had to practically shout to be heard. With the CT12, no one can tell that I am on a headset. The battery life is great! The phone is small and very lightweight.

My one complaint is the size of the dial pad buttons. They are very small.

I highly recommend this telephone!

I got the CT12 and I love it...it's great...no static, great sound and excellent or should I say perfect signal!
