Plantronics Discovery 925 Bluetooth Headset (Black)

I've tried all the other expensive motorolas and jabra, but each time I come back to Plantronics. I've had an older model and decided I wanted to upgrade. The salesman keep pushing one of the others, but I bought the 925 and love it. I talked several other people into buying it and we all are very happy. I use my headset 90% of the time so I need something reliable. I can't afford to have bad connections while speaking with clients. Thanks for the consistancy in quality, Plantronics.

This is the second one I've purchased (lost the other) and I've bought one for a gift. They're high quality and extremely comfortable.

Only gave it one star wanted to give it 5 stars.

I have had a lot of bluetooth headsets but this is by far my fav and the replacement tips are quite affordable. Also the customer service and speed of delivery was great.

I really like the headset but in about 1 to 2 hrs it starts hurting my ear.

My first Bluetooth aid and it is working very well. Fit is very comfortable.
No problems being heard. I would recommend. Great assistance and service from 1-800-Headsets.ca~ package arrived within time stated, very quickly and without any problems.

Just pick up the headset from the office, it was easy to set up and working fine in minutes.

It fits in the ear more much more comfortably than the 8xx units I already have. It sound different also, much more fuller sound than 8XX. Only thing I am not quite happy about of the 925 is that while I am driving down the highway (any speed), there is hollow (echo) sound over and above the conversation, when being used. I assumed that this new 925 has a noise cancellation, but this feature creates that hollow echo background, you can hear that tires or the road noise as the motorhome is traveling down the highway. I put my one finger to cover the hole at the end (mouth piece), the noise is gone. If that noise is not there, it would have been a perfect headset.

On one other note, is the headset design with left handed in mind. I am right handed, I plug the headset on my right ear and the volume button is pointing downward, hard to reach with right hand fingers. I tried on the left ear, the button is pointing upward and with my left hand, it was easier to reach the button. Is there a right handed version, as I have a left malfunctioning ear.

This was purchased to replace a Voyager 510 that had completely worn out (rubber was rotting). Compared to that, this headset is junk! It cannot be used in noisy environments (especially in the wind).

The sound quality is also inferior. In situations where I could use the 510, this headset is unusable (like when driving or standing outside).

I will be either going back to a 510 or maybe trying the new Voyager Pro

I love this Bluetooth. It is easy to wear and works well. I have small ears and the variety of sizes of the ear buds is so nice! It's great to charge it in the carrying case and the case helps protect the Bluetooth when I'm not using it but am carrying it. Great buy!

You're service is great I must say. Being my hearing a little on the marginal side I wish there was a device that went down into the ear canal that would hold the unit in the ear. I love the unit but to carry on a conversation I must hold the unit in with my hand. Oh well, can't have everything. CDM

Headsets.com did an excellent job getting this to me. The packaging was excellent. The headset works great! It is much better than the 6000 series I had before!

This is the best Earpiece I've every owned and trust me I've tried many. The sound is superb. I like the way it fits in my air. It's sturdy and does not move when you bend. It's worth the price. I gave it to my friend as a gift and she loves it too. I use it with my I phone and switching between Audio connections is very easy. Very good product.

Good product, but like others, I have trouble keeping it in my ear, the ear
piece is a bit to big for my ear. I sometimes get a good fit, but after a while it falls out.

This is my third headset since the other two quit working. I would not use another company than Headsets.com because the Customer service people are excellent. Everyone I have dealt with is friendly,efficient and truly comes across as wanting to solve your problem.

Another disappointing recommendation from the sales staff. The sound quality is loud enough but it's so distorted as to be painful. Worse than that, the noise cancellation built in to the microphone cuts into every word forcing listeners on the other end to keep saying "what...what..." Neither party in a noisy or windy environment. As soon as this was disconnected, the sound quality improved. What was particularly embarrassing was that everyone on the other end asked what kind of crappy phone or headset I was using.

The unit is light and comfortable and has great sound quality.

Very easy to use. I like that it isn't a holder that goes over my ear (which can make wearing glasses uncomfortable) but goes in the ear instead. However even the smallest ear piece feels a bit big in my ear, which can get uncomfortable after wearing for long periods of time. But I do like that it doesn't feel like it's going to fall out of my ear.

This is my second one (my company buys them for me). Without a doubt the best features of any Bluetooth that I've looked at.

Great Product, sound quality is awesome the dual-mic sure works great, tested out in my car blasting my music & full blast the air in front of my face and caller on the other end can still hear me clear. Would highly recommend this item to a friends, relatives.

The Plantronics 925 is one of the coolest Bluetooth headsets around. It’s super light weight which makes it very comfortable to keep on your ear during a drive, a walk or just a long conversation with a good friend!

The sound quality on the 925 is just about the best I’ve ever experienced from a Bluetooth headset. I can hear my callers even in noisy environments like the bus during rush hour.

Even better, the microphone quality is fantastic so my callers can hear me! Nobody wants to have their caller saying “what??” every time they speak and with the 925 you’re not going to.

Another very cool feature of the 925 is it’s unique charging case. The case itself can hold a charge so that when you are on the go and your headset’s battery gets low you can simply put it in it’s case and get some more juice into the headset battery.

Charging on the go? I love it!!

If there is anything I didn’t initially love it is that I found it to be a bit challenging to get the headset into the case. Also, the headset does not have an ear stabilizer (earloop).

Instead the ear gel has a bit of a ridge on it to hold the headset in place. Again, a challenge at first but once you get the placement right the headset is really secure. Once you get the hang the case and the ear gels you’ll be set.

I must say, if you’re looking for a stylish, powerful little headset, go for the 925.

The 925 has great sound quality, easy pairing and good range.

The comfort is a little on the average side as the ear gel starts to hurt my ear after a few hours.

Otherwise this is a great headset!

This is a great ear piece! Everyone could hear me clearly and I can hear perfectly. I love the little carry case that comes with it for charging. Thank you for this great promotion!

We keep going through Bluetooths. Always don't like something. My wife HATEs an in-ear headset. Having said that, she loves this one. And she's hard to please. Great sound quality and comfort.

Charges fast! I was surprised when I first plugged it in and the battery pack separately. That pack is great and I know it'll be a life saver.

People this one is pricey but you get every penny. Sometimes it goes in and out a bit but that's because of a wall or interference.

Very lightweight & easy fitting without the bulky over ear nonsense. Good quality sound (could be louder) and great range. The carrying/charging case is a bit hard to fit into without careful attention to the mini USB, but overall I'm very happy.

Easy to start using. I can hear, but wish it were slightly louder.

I wished it had higher volume setting that would really help when driving in freeway traffic! I drive a Honda SI sports car and it is not as quiet as others.

I purchased this for my boss, he has tried several different types of Bluetooth headset and has not liked any of them, he loves this one and has asked me to purchase more for his staff.

This unit losses connection to the mobile phone regularly. It is extremely uncomfortable. I am a technician that is around servers and other high noise surroundings this unit offers no noise-cancellation and other people hear the noise. I have experienced cutoff of conversation, but can not pinpoint it to the headset.I will be sending this unit back.

The Plantronics 925 Bluetooth headset is a wonderful product. From the moment I turned it on it has worked perfectly. It is very adaptable! Great product! Great price!

I have purchased many bluetooth headsets for myself as well as for my PPD's (Partners, Principals, Directors) in the past and this is by far the BEST headset EVER!!! I love it and will be ordering again for my PPD's. Thank you for such and awesome product it is truly AWESOME!!!

Like it; it works well and the sound quality is great.

This Bluetooth is very comfortable and I don't have a hard time hearing other people and according to my friends on the other end it has a very clear sound.

The only problem I have is sometimes getting it into the charging case, but I think with time this will become easier

I love the headset: the sound quality, the way it connects Bluetooth effortlessly, the fact that I don't have to use an ear loop over my ear. The only problem I have is that, for some reason, none of the ear gel ear-tips fit! The smallest one is a bit too large for my ear, and my ears are normal size, I believe. With all the great technology and styling effort your engineers put into this product, one would think that you wouldn't scrimp on having a few more options with the ear tips. One size smaller would work perfectly for me. I would buy this product again, but would not recommend it to my friends until you came out with 4 or 5 different sized gel ear tips.

I just received my 925 after returning many other models and it is one of the best I have seen. First the look really makes it a one of a kind and it is the first headset I don't have the volume to the maximum all the time. A little pricey, but definitely worth the money.

It has good sounds but I wasn't comfortable with the fit.
