Needed to know when the phone was in use, this has a peg on bottom and don't know. Ear pieces were not comfortable at all, hurt by the middle of day and had to remove. Unit was fine other than that.

Customer Rating: I have tendinitis in my left elbow and it's painful to answer the phone. I already have a CS55 and I ordered a HL10 lifter out of curiosity. This product is fantastic. I no longer have to lift the receiver to answer the phone and it's much easier on my elbow. All I do is push a button on my earpiece to answer and hang up my phone. I have ordered several more for my co-workers.

Customer Rating: We are having to return the entire component because it does not consistently lift the receiver of our Nortel telephone. We had previously purchased two CS55 Units with a special heavy duty lifter which worked great with the component for two of our staff members, however we were told that this lifter has been discontinued. We cannot use the component if it doesn't consistently lift the receiver and have arranged to ship it back to you.
I understand that this may be an issue which is a result of Plantronics themselves and so we can't fault you with this problem. I have been more than pleased with the service that we have received from Headsets.com

Customer Rating:  The HL10 works great. I'm glad they put the ringer microphone right inside the unit now - much more convenient than having the mic separate like it was before. The three lifter settings work very well and are easy to configure. I liked the fact that double-sided tape is pre-applied, so placing the unit on the phone base was easy. And it comes off without being destroyed - a definite plus for re-positioning, which I did twice. I also found an extra set of the tape strips in the box, just in case I needed them - very good to have, just in case. This product costs a lot, but it definitely works right.

Customer Rating:  The product is a good idea, however, after a while the adhesive wears out. I would highly suggest having an adjustable base (so it can work with different phone styles)so that it sits flat on the desk rather than just sticking to the side of the phone. That is my only complaint, otherwise, I do enjoy the freedom to answer the phone away from my desk

Customer Rating: I LOVE IT! I am so happy I will no longer spill my coffee or choke myself because of wires. I like the charging unit; is compact and so easy to set up. The only improvements I would make are the little cover that goes over the ear could be a little thicker. I also would add some cushion along the top part of the ear piece. I like the ship box and all the small touches from the sticker to the tootsies roll, which happen to be my favorite. Thank you.

Customer Rating: We have the RCA Executive series phones here. In order to make the handset lifter work reliably, I fabricated a spacer block for under the front of the phone to make it sit more level. This spacer block also has a piece of plastic on it that keeps the phone handset on its base when lifted. I thought that there was just too much strain on that little lifter motor the way it was working without this spacer. And it didn't always work correctly either. I also didn't think the two little rubber ears that came with the lifter were big enough to keep it from sliding off so I made some larger ones. Now it works great every time. Modified in this manner, we can still grab the handset and use it manually.
I did all this because we like the system. I noticed you had redesigned the lifter before we bought the second one so I thought it would be good to try the new ones. So far, both units are very reliable with this modification. If you need any more info about this you can call us.
