This is my first headset and they are much more convenient than a handset. The sound is clear on the headset. I have no problem hearing a conversation. If I turn the volume on my Plantronics M22 up too high (past 5 on a scale of 1 - 10)the line gets very staticy. If you really want to concentrate on the call or are hard of hearing I would recommend a headset for both ears.

The sound quality is excellent. It's snug enough to stay put on my head, yet not too tight to cause pain. That is a very important feature to me because I am up and around a lot throughout the day and it's works out great for me. The only minor complaint I have about it is the adapter cord. It's a little heavy and can cause the headset to slide down, but if you use the clip on the wire, it stays in place pretty well. I would definitely recommend this headset to others, especially to those that are up and around the office a lot.
