The CC530 is Sennheiser's latest headset innovation. This convertible headset can be worn as two different styles. It "converts" from an over-the-head style headset to an on-the-ear style headset in just a few seconds. The traditional over-the-head style provides a comfortable and secure fit. The ergonomic temple pad gently cushions your head from the headset band. The on-the-ear style, while less secure, does not interfere with your hairstyle or hat. Its lightweight design makes it comfortable to wear, even after prolonged use. See the images page for pictures. The headset speaker was built with active anti-shock ear piece safeguards, which protect against hearing impairment over prolonged headset use. Acoustic shock can occur with sudden loud sounds, hissing, or crackling which can slowly impair your ability to hear high frequency sound. Note: The CC530 requires an amplifier to work properly.
