I've been very happy with the fit. Yours is the only headset I've ever tried where the earpiece was small enough & adjustible enough to fit my tiny ear. The speaker could be a bit smaller, as it doesn't really fit tight inside my ear canal. But at least I can use this one & hear & be heard.

A little disappointing

I was really looking forward to this since everyone said it's the best of the best. Unfortunately I had to send it back because whenever I took it off the cube, it would turn on then right back off again. I spent hours on the phone with the help desk (who are amazing), but ultimately it had to be replaced. With both the old and replacement set, I constantly get people telling me that I'm breaking up. The whole reason I got this one is because my cheap old one did that and I didn't want to deal with it. The only thing I can think of is that I'm using it with a softphone on my laptop, so maybe the wireless connection in the office isn't strong enough? Anyway, I ended up ordering a bluetooth instead so I can be more mobile. We are keeping the set, though, since it did have such high reviews maybe someone else will have better luck.

In a 12,000 sq ft warehouse we can walk OUTSIDE on the opposite end or in our neighbors warehouse and still pick up calls.
Its a little pricey at first but easily pays for itself in the first couple days.

Having had long experience with the "other brand" of wireless headsets (whose name starts with "P"), I appreciate the upgrade in sound quality and range over those models. Our helpdesk associates can walk down the hall to ask questions and deal with PC's without dropping calls now. I only have one small gripe: the headset won't stay connected to the base station when it is attached to the headband. Very few of us use the headband, preferring the earhook, so this is usually not a problem.

I support about 35 people who use headsets. I've set up three or four of these and get consistent requests for help. I've found that the connection between the cradle and the headset is very particular--if you don't double check that it is charging, you will lose a charge int he headset overnight. I've witnessed this multiple times to at least three people. I would probably recommend this to users who were more confident about their headset understanding and skills.

I have been using Plantronics headsets for years. This headset has been a great asset to my handsfree time at work. I use it with the headband as the earpiece alone did not fit flush to my face so it felt like it was always going to fall off. I highly recommend this headset, with the receiver lift, with the headband... The range is excellent as well, as I can walk through my office (talking to myself my colleagues think... LOL) and even outside to the parking lot.

First of all...the tootsie rolls in the box--Yippee! I was disappointed to find out after ordering the headsets they would require the receiver lift. I had that type before and it was a nightmare! So the headsets that I was so excited about sit in the box waiting to be sent back. I had hoped it would be a simple solution for us. I had a wireless headset before that didn't require the lift, but have been unable to find another. Any suggestions? I hate I didn't realize the lift was needed before I ordered them.

I've been using this headset for a little over a year now and love it. I have it hooked up to both my hardwired and soft phone and use it extensively on both.
I have used various wired and wireless headsets over the years and this one is easily the best of the lot.
My only issue with it is that I keep getting a nag screen about an available software update but it never seesm to what to let me download it.

I had this headset before and I received a call from Bren at Headsets.com asking about it's performance. I was not very impressed with the first headset I had and I relayed this information to him. He said that it sounded like the headset was defective and offered to give me a new one for free! I of course accepted and now that I have the replacement, I love it. The sound quality is clear and I don't have to reset it all the time.
I also happened to be ordering batteries for the headsets we have in our office online and Bren offered to place that order for me as well. The customer service at Headsets.com is top notch and I can't say enough good things about them!

I love my wireless headset. I wish it had someway to put a call on hold from the headset. If I answer the phone while down the hallway I have to run back to the office to put on hold and transfer. The wireless works well in the hallways and even out of the building, but if I enter a classroom which has block walls I loose reception. I love my office runner and the freedom it allows me in a very busy office.

I love my new headset! I am constantly answering the phone and waiting on customers in the office. I wear the headset all day which allows me to answer the phone even if I'm not at my desk, plus my neck and shoulder aren't all cramped up from trying to hold the phone to my ear while I'm trying to type on the computer. The OfficeRunner Headset is a pleasure to work with, durning my initial set-up I had to call Headset and they provided me with excellent intructions so that set-up was a breeze. The headset itself is very light & comfortable to wear I am wearing the over the head headset. Being able to work and walk hands free is wonderful. Adjusting the volume so that I am able to hear the caller has been somewhat of a challenge but this I am working through and it is becoming easier. All things considered I love it.

Lots of glowing comments on this board but I cant say this worked out as well. Its back to Plantronics for me. My clients are always complaining about hearing feedback and echoing. We use the ShoreTel 230 Voip phone systems. I do like the feature that will allow me to play something from the computer through the headset as opposed to my speakers but besides that this amounts to a $300 mistake.

I really like my new headset so far. It has crystal clear reception that allows both me and my caller to hear each other without static. The headband is so comfortable I don't even notice I am wearing it. The only thing that I don't like is the inability to answer and end calls from a distance. Recently changed my phone service from traditional wire/instrument to a computer based soft phone VOIP. After trying several options decided on this model. Very clear reception good range. Can leave the desk and even leave the building without losing contact. Good battery life, lasting 8-9 hours, but not the 12 advertised. On the other hand, it charges very quickly so putting the unit in the cradle over lunch and/or periodically handles the problem. Fairly comfortable, but unlike my old Plantronics, it does start to make my ear sore by the end of the day if I don't remove it during the day.

I've had all kinds of headsets in my career and thought that plantronics was the best, but no longer. The OfficeRunner is far above the rest and for a reasonable price in comparison to other products that are far less superior. It's comfortable, clear and error free in its operation. I have only been using the headset for about a day and my first comment would be that it seems to be pretty good. Sound and ease of operation and set up are fine. My only real complaint would be comfort. If you buy this product figure on using the headband as the ear pieces are garbage. They do not hold the headset tight to your head and the speaker has no padding at all. It is hard plastic against your ear and becomes uncomfortable almost immediately. But if you don't mind using the headband, this seems to be a good product.

I did not like the Office Runner at all. I had to call twice to get help on programming the ring tones in the headset. The ring is a very faint beep. When other phones rang in the office the headset would beep, excessive noise around the phone caused it to beep. Basically you have this annoying faint beep in your ear constantly.

This headset is very visually pleasing but it lacks in functionality. The earpiece is very uncomfortable. I was on a 2 hour conference call the other day and couldn't wait to get the thing off my ear. I also don't like the fact that it just stops working at least once a month, if not more, and I have to unplug and plug it back in to reset it. This is another hassle because the cover over the back is very difficult to get on and off. The sound quality and range are very good though. I believe that is the only saving grace.

After about a half hour of frustration and the cost of a splitter, I called tech support to find out this headset doesn't work with cordless telephones. It doesn't say anywhere in the marketing materials that you need a "corded" phone to use this product. This was a huge waste of my time.

I recently bought an Office Runner headset. I had a very good experience with the customer rep, Bren. He was very informative and helpful! I didn't have to wait long to receive the product. It came 3 days later. I called recently to ask a technical question and spoke with Leah. She was very patient as we troubleshooted the problem I had. When I originally set up the headset and lifter, I had to "teach" the headset to recognize the ringing of the phone. Evidently, I did not do it properly and the headset repeatedly failed to signal me when the phone rang. Plus, I have roll over phone lines and the headset would never signal me when those lines rang. Leah walked me through the recognization of the ringing again and since then, I have had no problems with the headset alerting me to calls. The only change I would make in the design of the headset would be to make the mouthpiece a flexible plastic so that I could bend it away from my face.

The sound quality is excellent! 5 points! I can no longer use my flashing light that lets people know I am on the phone which is a point off. It does not have an in the ear gel which means I have to wear it over my head as the ear loop is very uncomfortable. This is another point off. Not too sure about this headset. Lifter is quieter, has sleek look. Does not sit in base well for recharging and already had to call for tech support and was told that the headset and base lost it's connection and would have to reboot. Then was informed that "this may happen once a month or even a few times a week, just like your computer. All headsets have this happen" When I pointed out that the headsets we've had for 4 1/2 years have not needed it and if my computers had this happen I would be calling my IT people to fix it. The answer was "it just happens, they all do it. it's electronic equipment." At this point I am very glad it is a 60 free trial. I will certainly be keeping the box for return until I see how this goes.

I've used the wired Sennheiser ME3 microphone (and a variety of other microphones) with Dragon Naturally Speaking for years. Every prior headset/microphone solution presented a comfort problem, lower than expected performance with Dragon, and/or the inevitable cord becoming wrapped around a chair caster wheel. This device has cured the above-listed problems for me.
For Dragon Naturally Speaking users ~ I got a score of 25 during the Dragon setup with this microphone (highest I've ever accomplished) and the dictation results have been phenomenal.
Not only are the dictation results great, but I find it very useful to feed computer sounds to the headset...including music from music players.
I didn't purchase a phone lifter because I thought I wouldn't need it...but the convenience of the headset is so great, I'm actually changing my phone habits in favor of using the headset rather than other devices/means.
To be fair, the quality of music playback from the computer to the headphone seems to lack depth, but that actually helps me work without feeling like I'm at a live concert...more like having some music on in the room for background but with the benefit that nobody else can hear it.

I just completed my second day with this unit, and it really is pretty awesome. I am on a 60 day free trial, and at this point I don't see a reason to not purchase it. I was able to charge it up out of the box and get it ready for use in about 25 minutes. The sound quality is great! Nobody can tell that I am even on a headset, and some have even commented on the improved sound quality that it produces. I even walked outside my house to another house across the street just to test how far I could get away from the base, and my caller could still hear me clearly! Confort is a big thing with me, and I like how comfortable it is, especially with the flexibility of using either the over the ear or the over the head configuration, and the battery seems to be very good so far too. I thought it was a little pricey, but the quality seems to justify the cost. I have been a "speaker phone" guy for years beacuse of poor experiences in the past with other head sets, but they way things are going I will be converting to "headset guy" very soon!

This is a awesome product. The distant is what amazes me. I can travel between floors and still talk on the phone. Execellent comfort and set up is a breeze. I would recommend this headset.

I have to comment on the new Sennheiser headset. It replaced one I've been using and that until now I had found to be totally satisfactory. But, the Sennheiser is headset and shoulders above any other I've used. Crystal clear sound quality - for both standard calls and the delightful feature of instant one touch over to Skype calls as well. I have yet to exceed the distance I can travel from my desk to other parts of our business campus - what a treat to keep the call going without interruption while I walk over to the next meeting. Thanks - the Sennheiser is the best.

Very high quality and functional headset and I wonder how I did without it before now. I use it for long conference calls, but find I like using it for normal calls to because it frees up my hands and is easy on the neck muscles.
I tried several other headsets before landing on Sennheiser. It's a step above all the others. The fidelity of the earpiece and clarity of the mike are both markedly superior (I didn't think they'd be different until I tried the two most popular brands).
The Sennheiser unit is comfortable to wear for long periods (I used the padded earpiece with the loop that fits on my head). It has a mute button with subtle feedback so you know the call is muted, and good volume controls. The unit is easy to install and the battery lasts for hours. It also charges quickly.
It's a breeze to switch from phone use to computer use and it's outstanding for skype or other internet telephony applications. The headset also has huge range with no degradation of signal.
The base station is small and a aesthetically pleasant design and it's properly weighted so it doesn't slide around the desk. I'd like to think of something negative but I honestly can't.
