Description
Plantronics continues the tradition of its CS line of wireless headsets with the CS540 convertible wireless headset. While this headset is similar to the long standing CS55, it's quite different in design and function.The CS540 offers a new and improved range of up to 350 feet. While still not the longest available range in wireless headsets, it's definitely a nice increase over the 300 foot CS55. As with all wireless headsets, this wireless range offers the ability to be up and about, grabbing files or coffee, or even stepping outside, all while staying on the phone and working 100% hands-free. Throw in the HL10 handset lifter (included in the Professional Bundle) and you can even answer and end calls while away from your phone.In addition to the improved range, the CS540 also allows you to pair up to three additional CS Series or Savi headsets to the same base for conference calls. This means no more fiddling with hold and transfer buttons, conference call numbers or the dreaded conferencer.

I have been using this headset for almost 1 year and I love it! Very lite to have over the ear, easy to put on and have never had a problem with the battery running low. Have used different headsets in the past and I have to say this is my favorite so far.

I have been using this headset for about 1 month and love it. It was easy to set up and I have never had an issue with the battery running low. I put it back on the charger at lunch time. I work from home, but for a call center and it was compatible with my Inter-Tel Model 8662 Phone. I've used it over the ear and over the head and both work fine. I did purchase the optional Plantronics HL10 Automated Handset Lifter, that too was easy to set up and it works PERFECTLY!! I HIGHLY recommend this product.

I enjoy using this wireless headset - it is NOT a user friendly ear piece, however. The clear insert that fits in the ear falls off the headset frequently and the piece that goes around the ear does not fit well.
