Cassandra Turner - Staff Reviewer  The Voyager 520 is a winning headset in my book.It offers great sound quality on calls thanks to Plantronics' AudioIQ technology that reduces background noise and enhances the sound of the natural voice. The headset gives an 8 hour talk-time and an unheard of 7.5 days for standby time. The 520 also comes with multi-point technology so you can pair the headset to multiple Bluetooth devices at once and toggle between two devices. While this isn’t our lightest Bluetooth headset, the 520 is still light enough so that it’s comfortable for many hours. The headset is worn with an ear loop over the ear and an eargel just inside the ear. While the headset is more economically priced than headsets like the Jawbone 2 or the Discovery 925, one thing to keep in mind is that this headset doesn’t have available replacement parts; so, when the plastic ear loop breaks it’s time for a new headset. After having several Motorola headsets (several because of warranty repairs) I bought this headset. It's amazing. Good battery life, good sound. The 'button' broke but is still perfectly usable, if not a bit irritating at times now.
Last night (10-22-2009) the ear loop broke away from the phone, I say grab the glue and re-glue it together! Richard Zimmerman

I bought this headset for my father and had a chance to use is for a few days. The button is easy to operate and it emits a different sound on powering on and powering off, which is easier for my father. The only downside is the sound is a little low in a windy situation or in the car with the window down, but it is really comfortable and is a great quality/price deal.

I do background investigations for security clearances. With all the driving I need a hands-free phone so I can keep my eyes on the road. The Plantronics Voyager 520 Bluetooth headset is perfect for me. With the car charger, I can always recharge it when needed without having to leave the car.
