Headsets.com has always been very responsive, and I am & will remain a loyal customer. The headset has been excellent - but the wire eventually fails at the strain relief. I have tried various means to secure the wire to my handset and provide additional strain relief, but still, I have had two handsets fail. This quick disconnect is excelletn, as I can replace just the 2.5 mm jack back to the quick disconnect. However, the "telpehone cord" - ie spiral coil of wire - adds mass to this cord. Better it was identical to the original ... just short. On the other hand, the telephone cord does provide strian relief - so, this may prove to last better. Not srure the bes t solution - but recommend you all loook at the strain relief problem. Best, Bill
