Customer Service Representative

THE JOB:
This position is full time, and will initially involve two weeks of paid training at your full rate of pay. Schedules range from 6am to 8:30am start times for an 8 hour-a-day, Monday through Friday work week. Start times are determined according to our Customer demand. We also have 5am and 5:30am shifts that pay a shift premium. They get filled up pretty quickly, are on a volunteer basis, and are subject to availability.

Our Customer Service Representatives receive calls from existing and new Customers and offer unparalleled Customer Service to create and maintain great Customer Relationships. You will also be asked to assist in day to day operational tasks that include: Customer e-mail, Excel spreadsheets, Customer quotes and processing mail.

Unlike many Customer Service centers, over 98% of our callers are very happy with us and aren't calling us because they have an unresolved problem. They are calling to buy headsets for their office or to ask questions. There are 31 people on our existing Customer Service team. We sell headsets (just in case our name didn't say it)! If you've used a headset before and like it then we're off to a good start. If you don’t know what a headset is, but you are phenomenal at Customer Service, still apply!

The ability to create an emotional connection with a Customer on the telephone is crucial to this position.

WHERE:
Headsets.com, Inc is located near the intersection of Van Ness and Post Street in San Francisco, close to public transportation and parking. We're in a Class A building.


PAY:
You bet! We figured we wouldn't get many volunteers no matter how good the job is. The initial pay is $15.00 an hour, but our average Customer Service Representative earns $37,000 or more their first year with overtime and bonuses! Bonus opportunities, vacation pay, health and dental all start after three months. Our health plan is an HMO/PPO option which allows you to refer yourself to a specialist should you choose to. Our Dental plan is a PPO through BlueCross/BlueShield. Headsets.com is an advocate of community involvement and as such we offer two days of paid non-profit work a year so you can choose a way for you to help your community and be paid your regular wages for those two days. We also offer full dollar for dollar Simple IRA matching up to 3% of your pay, discounted gym membership, educational training allowance, credit union membership with high-yield interest savings accounts, world famous business coaches, and of course, free headsets!!

GETTING HIRED:
Interviewing will span about two weeks and will include several phone and usually two in-person interviews. The last interview is an all-day interview where you spend time with people doing the job, so you can fully understand what the job is about. If you get to the final interview for a Customer Service Position, you will be paid a $200 time reimbursement for completion of this day, irrespective of whether you are hired or not. We take time in hiring and believe it's worthwhile to invest the time to get people that are right for the position, and also give you good exposure to the work we do and our company Culture.
