How can I move between modes on the Leitner OfficeAlly LH370/380?

It’s easy! You just push the button of the mode you’d like to use and SHAZAM! You are in telephone, computer, or Bluetooth mode!

For Bluetooth:

Most cell phones will offer both remote answering and ring detection..

If we are on Bluetooth mode and our headset is turned ON we will be able to hear our ringtone through our headset. We will need to hit the button once to If our headset is turned OFF we will hear the “doo roo doo roo” chime

If we get a Bluetooth call and we are on phone or computer mode and our headset is turned OFF we will hear a “doo roo doo roo doo roo” chime in our headset. We can then hit the ON/OFF button on the headset or BT button on the base to pick up. (Once we turn off the headset, the white light on base will switch back to whatever mode it was on)

If we get a Bluetooth call and our headset is turned ON while in computer or phone mode we will hear a notification in our headset. We can then hit the button on the base to answer or we can hit the button on the headset ONCE to turn off the headset (you'll then hear the chime) and ANOTHER TIME to pick up the call.

For Telephone:

You’ll need an EHS cable or lifter for remote answering

If we are on Bluetooth or computer mode w/ our headset OFF & a call comes through (you’ll hear the chime), the mode will switch over and pick up the call when we hit the ON/OFF button on the headset. This only applies if there is a remote answering accessory. (If the headset is turned on we need to hit it once to turn it off and then again to pick up the call) (Once we turn off the headset, the white light on base will switch back to whatever mode it was on)

OR if we are on Bluetooth or computer mode and our headset it turned ON, we can hit the phone button on the base to pick up the call (this will only apply if a call is coming in and there is a handset lifer. Will not pick up call automatically with EHS). (If you are currently on a Bluetooth call when you switch over, it will place the Bluetooth call on a silent hold)

OR if you have a Bluetooth enabled office phone, you may be able to set it up that way, but PLEASE NOTE, you will not be able to use it with your cell phone or tablet if it’s already connected to your Bluetooth office phone.

PLEASE NOTE: If we have a EHS/Lifter and on a call and we get a call on Bluetooth we NEED to place the call on on hold on the phone first then hit the Bluetooth button on the base. If we hit the button on the headset it will disconnect the desk phone call!

For Computer:

The only softphone with remote answering on computer mode remains Skype for Business, and that’s only if you have Microsoft Lync Mode turned on. How to turn on Lync Mode!
