How Do I Set Up the CS500 Series Headsets?

Updated by Kamika Royal on Mar 1, 2024

Set up through Handset Jack:

  1. Plug power into the headset base
  2. Disconnect the handset curly cord from the telephone base
  3. Plug the RJ45 end (bigger end) of the connector cord into the back of the headset base.
  4. Plug the other end into the HANDSET jack of the telephone (where we unplugged the curly cord from)
  5. Plug the loose curly cord end into the box in the middle of the connector cord (pic #2 below)
  6. Set the compat switch underneath the base to “A”
  7. Volumes underneath the base should be set to 2 or 3

Have a lifter? Plug it into the back of the headset base & put the lifter over the speaker of the phone
