Jabra Engage stopped working with cell phone

Jabra is no different than other Bluetooth headsets, so the troubleshooting will be about the same

Forget and re-pair device:

  • Go into the Bluetooth settings of the cell phone and remove it from the paired list. May say something like "unpair" or "forget this device"
  • Press menu button on the base underneath the screen until it says "Mobile device"
  • Scroll to the right using the '+' button until "Delete pairing" is centered on screen, then hit the checkmark. Then select "yes" with the checkmark
  • You can then use the soft buttons on the base to re-pair headset with cell phone
