No Mic Audio (ask if we’re using this with a phone or computer)
Phone
1. Check set up (Verify cc is connected all the way within this step (I unplug both ends for 5 seconds)
2. Check headset is not muted
3. Increase mic volume under the base
4. Resync
5. Breath test. If we don’t hear it mic is dead
Computer
1. Windows Settings - Check the headset is selected as default device under the recording tab (all other devices disabled)
2. Softphone Settings - Check the headset is selected as the input or microphone device
3. Increase mic volume under the base
4. Check mic is turned on within the Windows 10 mic privacy settings
5. Move the USB cord (move directly into)
6. Reboot PC
7. Breath test. If we don’t hear it mic is dead
8. Resync
No Audio (ask if we’re using this with a phone or computer)

1. Check for battery lights
2. Make sure they are using it correctly (turning it on, hitting the right buttons)

1. Move mic for a possible mic short
2. Make sure battery life is not at 1 bar or less
3. Check set up (cords are plugged in all the way & that we’re on the correct compat setting)
4. Pick up the handset or place call over the speaker (if the static continues, the issue is the phone)
5. Fine-tune volumes
6. Move base away from other electronics
7. Unplugged reset
Computer
1. Move mic for a possible mic short
2. Make sure battery life is not at 1 bar or less

What to replace and when
Just the Mic:
- Mic shorts
- Puffy batteries
- When the headset doesn’t flash during resync
Just the Base:
- No power to the base
- PC is not recognizing the headset
The entire unit:
- All other replacements
The only expectation would be if there is reasonable physical damage to the headset or base. We'd replace just the piece that needs replacing
