Leitner Premium Plus and Dongle Wireless Headsets: Volume Controls

One of the most important things to know about using a headset is how to change the volumes. Often speaker and microphone audio will be split into 2 different places so that you can increase/decrease them individually.

Changing Speaker Volume (Premium Plus and Leitner Dongle)

If you want to increase or decrease the sounds of people talking to you, you will want to change the speaker volume on the headset itself.

Note: Headset will need to be turned on for this to work

To Increase speaker volume: Click the volume up button above where the microphone connects to the headset.

To decrease speaker volume: Click the volume down button below where the microphone connects to the headset.

To mute the microphone: Press and hold either the volume up or volume down button for 1 second. You will hear a double-beep and the FocusLight on the headset & base will turn purple. Do the same thing to re-enable the microphone, which will give you a single beep. After re-enabling the microphone, the FocusLight on the headset will go back to solid blue.

While muted, you will hear a beep every 5 minutes to remind you that it is muted.

Changing Mic Volume (Premium Plus LH500/600 series only)

If you want to increase or decrease your speaking volume so that others can either hear you louder or quieter, we will be looking under the Premium Plus charging base! There isn't a way to change microphone volume on Leitner Dongle headsets.

Note: Headset will need to be turned on for this to work

To Increase microphone volume: Press the "+" button

To decrease microphone volume: Press the "-" button

It's really that simple!
