There a few things to check & try for a “no audio” issue.
No Mic Audio
- Confirm proper set up. I was thinking we can add a link to this article “Computer headset setup”
- Ensure the headset is turned on (this happens). If Leitner corded ensure compat is on 2 & 3
- Check softphone sound settings if they are using with a softphone
- Check mic privacy settings in windows 10 – attach the link to the article about mic privacy
- Do a voice recorder – If it is not picking up the voice, replace the mic
- Another way to tell if the mic is being picked up is to look at the bar next to the default headset under the recording tab. If it jumps up and down in green, it is still active
- Show how to check levels (not applicable to Leitner)
- Reboot the computer
No Speaker Audio

- Ensure the headset is turned on (this happens). If Leitner corded ensure compat is on 2 & 3
- Check softphone sound settings if they are using with a softphone
- Adjust the volume on the headset, if we don’t hear beeps chances are the speaker is dead ☹
- Check levels (not applicable to Leitner)
- Another way to tell if the speaker is picking up audio is to look at the bar next to the default headset under the playback tab. If it jumps up and down in green, it is still active
- Reboot the computer
PC not recognizing the headset
- Unplug USB for 5 seconds
- Try a different USB port
- Try a different USB cord (different QD for corded)
- Reboot the computer
- Try a different computer
If all else fails get to PS team.
