What is Bluetooth 5.0?

Updated by Kamika Royal on Feb 7, 2024

Bluetooth 5.0 is the newest (for now) version of Bluetooth!

It has a longer range, better connectivity, and works better in dense settings with lots of wifi.

The devices that have it are the fancy new smartphones, the iPhone8, the iPhoneX, and the SAMSUNG Galaxy 8 and beyond.

All these new features are GREAT! BUT... We don’t currently carry any Bluetooth 5.0 headsets!

Does this mean that our Bluetooth headsets won’t work with Bluetooth 5.0 devices? HECK NO! THEY TOTALLY WORK!

It just means that you won’t enjoy the longer range, improved connectivity, etc. of Bluetooth 5.0.

If we start carrying a Bluetooth 5.0 headset, this article will be updated. But for now, our Bluetooth headsets are still pretty great and, yes, they work with the new smartphones!
