Plantronics Calisto Pro Wireless Telephone

I am SO impressed with this company! From beginning to end, EVERYONE that I spoke to on the phone was so friendly, helpful, and patient. When my package arrived (so quickly!), I opened the box to a carefully packaged headset, CANDY, and an awesome toothbrush! What touches! Especially in these times of economic decline, your company shows how much you care about the customer. One doesn't see this kind of service hardly anymore! Then, when I exchanged my first headset for another one (after such helpful advice on what kind of headset was best for my needs), the second one came just as quickly - and with more candy and another toothbrush! You recommended this other one because you thought that it would better suit my needs even though it was less expensive than the first one that I ordered. Proof that you care more about your customer's needs than making a bigger profit - wow! You were right! This one is wonderful! I can't sing your praises enough to everyone! I am highly recommending your company to everyone! Thank you SO, SO much for everything! If I ever need any product that you sell, I will DEFINITELY buy from Headsets.com!

The product is excellent so far, it was not complicated to hookup and the reception is great!

Working on the 3rd replacement so far. There must be some bugs to work out yet. I would not recommend it to my friends until some of the problems are worked out. Very frustrating.

Caller ID does not work on the handset that goes with the headset. That poses a problem sometimes, I rely on the caller ID a lot when taking phone calls. Also, when I go to the other end of the office, I get static on the line when I answer. Other than those two items, I love the headset and the freedom of mobility it gives me.

Be aware that this headset will not work with digital lines (VOiP), only analog. Trying to use this with digital lines will cause very audible static on all phones in the system.

I bought the Calisto Pro as a home office phone that would also allow me to Skype. It works great as a wireless phone and the range is excellent. Sound quality is typical of Bluetooth connections and comfort is pretty good. I wish the Skype integration would be a little better and the phone book could definitely use a better search feature since it allows you to import your Outlook address book.

Overall I'm happy with the phone and hope that Plantronics will release better software in the future to more tightly integrate with Skype.

I had two CT-12's from Plantronics over the years. Loved both. They had some niggles like the microwave interfered with them a bit and they would interfere with the WiFi network at home and you couldn't use them in the cradle, so if you ran out of charge during a call, you were hosed. The Calisto Pro has great sound quality and fixes all of the issues I had with the CT-12 and as of yet, I haven't noticed the introduction of any new ones. It's a little "chubby" in your hand compared with the CT-12, but that doesn't bother me.

The only thing I don't like is I can't page over the intercom using my key pad from the Calisto Pro. It says I can push star key and then 71 but it doesn't work. Everything else is great so far.

The only thing I do not like about this phone is how SMALL the keypad is. I have to use the eraser of a pencil to hit them accurately but, a small hurdle to get over!

This is a product I have been waiting for!!! I had the CT12, but kept getting the headphone cord caught (went through 2 because of it). This product is sleek, stylish, easy to operate, compact, and long overdue. It allows me tons of freedom. Nothing like this is available anywhere else - to my knowledge. Would you like me to go on?

My only big disappointment is that the ear piece doesn't stay on very well. I also find the buttons on the dial pad a little cumbersome. Otherwise, it's a great phone.

Amazing product and sales people.

I got my headset yesterday and after using it for a day I am hooked. Sound is perfect, virtually zero static - so tiny, so comfortable. Simply flawless.

And I love the ultra modern space look

I like the headset so far. It could be a bit better though. I work in a busy oral surgery office and the slip in the handset isn't very strong. It's heavy and slips easily. It's great not having a cord though. The ear piece is hard on my ear.

I love the features on the Calisto Pro phone. It's nice to have a volume control and ringer shut-off option for night. The phone is staticky at times but when I speak to people they say the sound is clear. The cordless ear piece is nice! It does hurt after awhile but I readjust it and then it feels okay.

The Calisto Pro is the long-anticipated successor to the CT12, and it really is a huge step forward. The main advancement of course, is the Bluetooth technology that eliminates the cord between the remote pack and the headset. This provides so much more freedom than the CT12. There are a ton of other less glaring improvements that make the Calisto so much easier to use than the CT12 – a sturdier, more dependable belt clip, a bigger LCD screen, more talk time, a more comfortable design, and a sleeker, updated look are just some of those features. I find the earpiece more comfortable than the CS55 as well, which is always nice. Of course, the Calisto is an over-the-ear only headset that can’t be converted to an over-the-head wearing style, but this should only put off the most die-hard of headset purists. When I paired it up with my cell phone it worked well and sounded good too. What more do you need? I like the sound quality of this a lot more than the voyager 510 I usually use.

The only thing I do not like about the Calisto it is slow to answer. There is a delay when hit the answer button to when the phone picks up the call.

Love the wireless feature. The sound quality could be a little better.
