Using your Plantronics CT14 headset with a multi-line Partner phone
Using your Plantronics CT14 with a Partner phone (AT&T MLS Series, Avaya, and Lucent Partner phones) has never been easier. Your Partner phone is unique because you have the ability to access features remotely by using the CT14 headset telephone. These features include transferring calls, placing calls on hold, and dialing, all from up to 300 feet away!

Setting up your Plantronics CT14
- Plug the connector cord into the bottom of the CT14 base. If your Partner phone has an auxiliary jack, plug the other end of the connector cord into it. This is located on the underside or back of the phone (often hidden beneath a plastic platform) and is labeled "AUX." If your phone does not have an auxiliary jack, then you will need a jack splitter. The jack splitter would then be used to plug both the CT14 and the Partner phone into the same wall jack. If you do require a jack splitter, no worries! Let us know and we will provide you with a jack splitter, absolutely free.
- Plug the appropriate end of the power cord into the bottom of the CT14 base. Plug the other end of the cord into the electrical outlet.
- Plug the headset into the top of the CT14 remote. Place the remote into the base to charge. Allow the remote to charge for 8 hours before using.
If you've tried the above without success, please call our Headset Advisor Team at 1-800-432-3738. We will happily help you get it working.
Remember: The Partner phone is special in that it can use a single-line headset system, like the CT14, to answer any number of phone lines. In addition, no handset lifter is required to do so. The CT14 may not display your caller ID information.
